Data & trends of the European Food and Drink Industry 2008
The CIAA represents the food and drink industries’ interests, at the level of both European and international institutions. The EU’s largest manufacturing sector is constantly adapting to changing consumer needs and demands, producing high quality and safe products. The 2008 issue of the Data and Trends Brochure contains key statistics and figures, providing an overview of the entire sector for the period 2006-2007, and is divided into three sections: ‘Structure of the Industry’, ‘Markets and Consumption’ and ‘World Trends’. The brochure also contains key data on R&D and innovation developments, as well as ranking of leading international food companies, taken from Eurostat and member databases, as well as OECD and World Bank.
